The following pen drawings are selected during the period of Covid lockdown in the first half of 2021.
My partner and I spent the year confined within a budget 1950’s apartment complex. We lived between hills, removed from Downtown Seattle. The exterior world and its problems slipped away.
With little to do, I was left with my slowly aging, fattening, aching body. The sensation of being animated meat drove the content of this book. In retrospect, the goal of Anatomia is to marry the scientific format of anatomical illustration with the awkward quality of flesh.
